How long do the results last?

The results of the plasma pen last between 3-4 years.

What is PLASMA PEN?

Fibroblast skin tightening, or PLASMA PEN, is the newest facelift procedure. The term “soft surgery” is used to describe the treatment because it offers nearly similar results without the scalpel, anaesthesia, sutures or bandages and minimal downtime.

This is a minimally invasive procedure with much lower risk and an affordable price compared to surgery.

The Plasma Pen works by using the fourth state of matter, plasma, which is a sublimation process to create an electrical charge.

During the process, the plasma comes into contact with the surface of the skin, applying direct heat. This is transferred to the inner papillary layers of the skin, which contain what are known as fibroblast or fibroblast cells,

These cells are responsible for generating connective tissue and allowing the skin to recover from injury or trauma.

This helps the skin create new skin cells from skin contractions and stimulation of the collagen cells underneath.

How many treatments will I need?

The number of treatments needed will vary depending on the laxity of the skin, the condition being treated, the degree of correction desired and the individual response to treatment. Most clients see results immediately and this continues to improve over the course of 8 to 12 weeks. Further treatments can be performed after 10 weeks.

Is it painful?

We always apply anaesthetic cream prior to the service and give you as much time as necessary to provide you with the most comfortable experience. An anti-inflammatory medication such as ibuprofen may also be taken.
